Believe it or not!
Today I was reading an Ad from Dr. Susan Clark that had an astounding suggestion. It said if you want to use a body scrub next time look in your kitchen; it won't cost you a cent. Have you guessed what it is? If you thought “coffee grounds” you get an A. A lot of scrubs have too much salt as a base and that is not good for your skin. Studies show that if you massage coffee grounds carefully on your body it will help exfoliate old skin cells, minimize the appearance of cellulite and varicose veins, and discourage bumps and pimples. Your skin will thank you.
Dr. Clark also suggests that one of your best friends can be spearmint gum. Why? She says a stick or two may improve some aspects of memory. (Recent studies show chewing gum of itself can produce context-dependent effects upon memory, but failed to improve word recall.)
Back where he belongs!
I'd like to use this space to welcome back to the Reno airwaves - Tad Dunbar. I'm certainly enjoying his Dunbar Report whenever I can, and like his choice of subjects. As several have said to me, “It's so good to see a familiar face,” but beyond that he's easy to believe and it's like a friend is back home. Glad you're home Tad. We've all missed you.
